I was well into my 30s before January became the start of the “new year”. Until that point, September, and the start of school always felt like the more significant starting point for a year. While this September certainly is strange, your reminders of finding joy – yes, JOY – amid all of the pain and struggle, both recent and long held, is appreciated.
