The UUCM Annual Congregational Meeting will be held Sunday, May 23, 2021, at 11:15, via Zoom, in accordance with the UUCM By-Laws. All members are encouraged to participate, as a quorum is needed to conduct business.  Friends of UUCM are also welcome to attend.

Below you will find information about the decisions to be made at the meeting. This page will updated regularly over the next week with new details.

Budgets for 2021-2022: In addition to approving an operating budget for next year, the congregation will also approve a capital budget.  The Operating Budget is a balanced budget with expenditures of $428,000, an increase of 8% over this year.  This increase funds equity in benefits for our staff, and higher operating costs as we reopen the building later this year. The Capital Budget proposes $31,000 in expenditures to upgrade the audio and video equipment in the sanctuary to enable our future vision multi-platform (in-person, online) worship.

Elections:  Per the By-Laws, Board officers (President and VP) are elected for one year terms, while Board directors are elected for 3 years terms. Three of the Nominating Committee members are elected by the congregation for one year terms.  This year’s Nominating Committee has proposed the following slate of candidates for next year. Board Member (3 years): Janna Sperry, Jeff Adrian, Brian Zais
(Note: Shelley Buss and Betty Harnett will continue as Board Directors).

Nominating Committee:
Members (1 year): Lori Arnold, Sharon Charles, Kathy Stuebner

UUCM Updates and Reports: We have published reports from the Board, Council, and Minister that summarize the activities of the past year.  At the meeting we will verbally share some brief comments and highlights from the reports.

Minutes from Previous Meetings: We will approve the minutes from last year’s Annual Meeting and the Special Meeting held in February.
