UUCM is hosting an in-person Know Your Rights Workshop presented by Lupita  Herrera from the Legal Rights Center of Minneapolis on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:30 p.m. 

Would you like to know more about protecting your rights when interacting with police? Your rights in school? At a protest? How about if you’re stopped while driving? This workshop will help you be better informed and prepared if you have an encounter with police or the criminal law system. American Sign Language, Spanish and Somali language interpreters will be  available. The event is free and open to all.
