Join the Racial Justice Team after the service on Sunday, December 10 for a presentation and discussion about the history and the humanity of the current crisis in Palestine and Israel. There will also be an opportunity write letters to legislators asking them to support an immediate ceasefire and a just peace. If you are interested in learning more about how the UUA has engaged on this issue in the past or are looking for support in this time of collective fear and grief, you may also be interested in viewing a recent presentation from the UUA.
Last month, the UUA issued a statement on the ongoing humanitarian crisis and called for a ceasefire. Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism also issued a statement calling for a ceasefire and an end to the occupation.
