Our congregation has been working in partnership with the UUSC for years to help a family of refugees from Guatemala. The family recently reached out requesting help from our church after a family member passed away. The family is trying to raise money to send his body back to Guatemala, so he can be buried in his home country next to his family. This process could cost up to $12,000.
