Save the Date: Film Screening

SAVE THE DATE: Mount Olivet Lutheran Church of Plymouth is hosting a free screening of the documentary film “Religion, Racism, and Reconciliation” on Saturday, May 3, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. It follows the stories of individuals and communities of faith (including Calvary Lutheran Church in Minneapolis on 38th and Chicago) who have work to address systemic racism. Registration is not required, but it is appreciated so we can have an idea of how many people will be coming. Please click here to register.

Support Beacon at the Capitol

NEW: Join the UUCM Housing Justice Team at the Capitol! Let’s make our voices heard! We have a fantastic opportunity to attend the House Human Services Policy and Finance Committee hearing on Thursday, April 6, from 8:15–10:00 a.m. at the State Capitol, Room 123. Please click here to register. Your presence can truly make a difference for family residents in Beacon supportive housing facilities. If you can’t be there in person, you can watch online, but we’d love to see as many of you there as possible. Don’t forget to wear your Beacon T-shirt if you have one; it makes a powerful statement!
