SAVE THE DATE: Metal recycling is coming in May! Please save your scrap metal for our May scrap metal drive. The proceeds will benefit our UUCM youth. Any scrap metal is welcome—everything from nails to grills. Please keep your metal at home until we send out the notice that we’re ready to collect.

Member of the Board of Trustees: Trustees partner with the congregation, the council, the professional staff, and the minister(s) in carrying out the vision and long-term goals of the church. They articulate the policy and collaborate with the minister(s) to see they are fulfilled. Please click here to view a more detailed description of the position.
Member of Nominating Committee: Committee members screen and recommend candidates to the congregation for open positions on the Board of Trustees, and the Nominating Committee, at the May annual meeting. This is a two year term. We are working to stagger the terms. Three vacancies must be filled. Please click here to view a more detailed description of the position.

On March 23rd, we will kick off our annual Stewardship Campaign, “Meeting the Moment, Together.” In this moment, our shared values—with love at the center – call us to come together and strengthen our community so that we can work to advance pluralism, justice and equity. UUCM Member Jen Barnes is asking for your support, Telehealth for Medicare recipients will be discontinued March 31, 2025 unless Congress takes immediate action. It was supposed to have a two year renewal period but to stop a government shutdown it was only extended a few months past expiration on 12/31/2024. In Jen’s experience, once a regulation is lifted/policy shifts, commercial insurers tend to follow suit, so this could have an impact on Medicare Advantage patients and perhaps all of us at some point. This will have a significant negative impact on seniors and people with disabilities, particularly those without transportation or in rural areas. Click here to take action.
