RE Teachers Still Needed!

RE Teachers Still Needed—Fall Teacher Training September 8. Another great RE year is about to begin! We still have a few slots open to teach in RE this coming year. If you like learning about UU and or spending time with children or youth – contact Karen today. A handful of Sundays in the Fall or Spring is all it takes, but the benefits to you and our children and youth are infinite!

Ridwell Reminder!

We had a great crew for Ridwell prep this past week, join in next time for the fun and learning! September 9 at 2 p.m. is the next prep day. Wine corks are the next featured item! You’re all doing a great job for the environment—keep it up! Remember: Ridwell now accepts empty pill bottles, save them at home for future pick ups! Soul Matters Circles Return This Fall!

Whether you’re new to UUCM or are a long-time member, we invite you to join a Soul Matters Circle this year at UUCM! These groups offer the opportunity to explore the monthly themes and connect with each other and our deepest selves.

You can sign up online now here!

This year we’re offering two Circles which will meet once a month for 1.5 hours from September-June. One Circle will meet in person on Sundays, and the other will meet Monday nights via Zoom. Susan Goll will facilitate the in-person gatherings and Rev. Lisa will facilitate online. Please see the class dates below.

Participants receive a resource packet each month with background information, questions for discussion and contemplation, spiritual exercises, wise words and other suggested resources. In each meeting, we share what it was like to “live with” the exercises and the questions as we share where the topic took us, and hear the experience of others. This sharing is at the heart of the Soul Matters program and our experience is further deepened by the group’s sharing.

Newcomers and friends are especially welcome, and childcare is available! Reach out to Rev. Lisa with any questions.
