Save the Date: UUCM Flower Communion!

Tuesday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. the Plymouth City Council will be considering a policy/ordinance that proposes housing developers building in Plymouth would include some affordable housing in their project. The discussion is about whether this should just be a non-mandatory policy, or an Ordinance, which makes it more enforceable. Showing up at the meeting in your blue Beacon or Love Makes Room shirts, or any blue shirt will show the City Council affordable housing is a “must,” not an option. Contact Kim Vohs with questions at 612-366-3123.

The UUCM Annual Meeting is coming up THIS SUNDAY, May 19 at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held both in-person at the church and on Zoom. All members are encouraged to participate because we need a quorum to conduct business. Friends of UUCM are also welcome to attend. If you plan to join on Zoom, please pre-register here to join the meeting.
The full agenda for the meeting is available here. You can read the annual report here. You can preview the details of the operating budget here. Please get to know our new nominees for the UUCM Board of Trustees & Nominating Committee here!
Get ready to say cheese this Sunday! Jeff Adrian will have a portable studio set up to help you take a profile picture for Breeze, UUCM’s online directory system. He’ll be set up in the sanctuary right after the service until the annual meeting starts.
Please also remember to complete our 2024 UUCM congregational survey! It only takes about 20 minutes and helps give our UUCM Board of Trustees valuable information to help determine church priorities and goals. Make sure your voice is heard! You don’t have to be a member to participate—we want to hear from anyone who is part of our community. Click here to fill it out now.
