UUCM’s First Ridwell Pickup!

Ridwell is coming to UUCM!! Next Friday, February 16 is our first pick up. Please bring your clean and dry items and drop them off in the marked bins next to the little library anytime before noon on Thursday, February 15. Every other Friday, Ridwell will pick up: styrofoam, fabric and shoes, crinkly plastic (any bags that make noise when you squish), plastic film (you can punch your thumb through) and lightbulbs. There is one special item in each pick up. The special item for this pick up is working plastic or wooden hangers. The hangers will be donated to Bridging. Their mission is “to empower people to thrive in their homes by providing quality furniture and household goods as they pursue housing stability.” This is such an exciting new venture for UUCM! Please contact Kathy Stuebner (612-590-9606) or Sue  Asinger (612-703-2297) with any questions or read more about Ridwell here.

Virtual Venerable Women’s Meeting This Friday!

Please join the Venerable Women’s group this Friday at noon for this month’s meeting. February’s host is Nancy Murnane. Board of Trustees member Brian Zais will join the group to seek input for the board on an estimate for operation and maintenance expenses for UUCM the next 5-10 years. The board is also compiling a wish list. After Brian’s visit, the Venerable Women will do a check in with members.
