Fall Gala: Your Donations Are the Key to Success!

The 2024 edition of our annual Fall fundraiser will be held at church on November 2nd, with online bidding from October 25th to November 3rd. You can help make the gala a success by donating your items, services, or events using the easy online form. Not sure what to donate? Visit the Fall Gala website to find links to past catalogs and other information. You can also check out the auction table in the community room or reach out Karen Hulting to discuss your ideas. And be sure to mark your calendars and make plans to join the fun and help UUCM!

Ridwell Reminder

Important— Ridwell is collecting Winter Warmth to help our community partners for our next pick up on September 23. Please bring to THREADS bin: clean winter coats with zippers in working condition, mittens, gloves, and hats. No single mittens and no boots please. Kids items and XL-3X are especially needed. Thank you for helping our neighbors!! Keep saving pill bottles at home for future pick ups. Clean white rigid Styrofoam, styro-pellets, lightbulbs, multilayer plastic, plastic film and threads (including shoes) are always welcome. New UUCM Children’s Choir!

UUCM is piloting a new music program—UUCM Children’s Choir! As a brand new program, the details are still flexible, but right now, the plan is to meet Sunday mornings at 11:15, right after RE. The first 3 practices would be November 3, 10 and 17 at 11:15. If enough kids (ages 5–13) are interested, we hope to have the Children’s Choir sing Sunday, November 24 and again in the spring. If a young one in your life is interested in making music at church please reach out to Music Director Paul Winchester to express interest and get  more information!
