Ridwell Reminder!

The Ridwell Featured Item for 7/15 is kid’s clothes & shoes. You can help make Ridwell successful by following some simple steps: 

  • Please make sure bags are clean and dry—no crumbs or dirt.
  • Please SORT plastic—multilayer category is anything crinkly or netting, the film category is anything you can punch your thumb through, including bubble wrap. 
  • Please bag all items in plastic bags—there are extras in the bins.
  • Sue and Kathy would love a phone call if you are unsure your item is appropriate for Ridwell. Sue: 612-703-2297, Kathy: 612-590- 9606

Wright-Sherburne Pride Festival

UUCM will have a booth at the Wright-Sherburne Pride Festival this year! Please join us and celebrate with our LBGTQ+ families, friends and neighbors, “Centering Love”, at the Wright- Sherburne Pride Festival. It’ll be on Saturday, July 20 from 11–4 at Ellison Park in Monticello. If you’d like to volunteer, carpool or need more information please contact please Mike Elliott.

Fun Additions to UUCM!

Many of you may have already noticed the new basketball hoop, donated by Rev. Lisa Friedman and installed by Tyler Grosshuesch, and our new embankment slide—installed by Brian Zais. Thank you to everyone who is making our grounds more welcoming to those young at heart! What an awesome Beloved Community we are—let the fun begin!

Ridwell Reminder!

The next Ridwell Prep Day is July 1 at 2:00. Some of our regular helpers are out of town so please help if you can. Folks who have helped with prep say it is a great way to learn, so join in. The next featured collection item is WINE CORKS. Please remember to bag ALL items in plastic bags and put in labeled bins. If you are unsure if an item is accepted by Ridwell—PLEASE ask Kathy or Sue before bringing it to church. That is very helpful to people doing prep. BE PROUD OF ALL YOU ARE SAVING FROM THE LANDFILL!
