Sign up for our All Ages Summer Chalice Keeper Camp!

We’re going for gold this year at UUCM. We’ll be hosting our very own Summer Olympics at Chalice Camp! All activities will take place at UUCM from July 29 to August 1 (Monday through Thursday) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will be assigned to one of two evenly-matched teams and will proudly carry their chalice (I mean torch!) to victory! Campers will represent their team in a variety of activities throughout the week.

We’ll complete in Olympic sports like the 100-meter dash, gymnastics, curling and soccer. But we’ll also throw in some events that may not be seen in Paris this summer like balloon volleyball, capture the flag, karaoke, water balloon toss and puzzle mania! Campers will help make (and eat!) Olympic-themed snacks and we’ll create arts and crafts every day too. Families of these esteemed Olympic athletes are then invited to a pot-luck dinner on Friday night for the Closing Ceremonies where they will be able to view the week’s photos and awards. SAVE THE DATE: Naming & Dedication Ceremony!

UUCM is holding a naming and dedication ceremony on Sunday, April 7 for infants and children under 2-years-old. We’ll also have a dedication ceremony for older children who would like to be dedicated in our tradition. Unitarian Universalism affirms the original blessing of life that comes into the world with every child who is born and our congregation is honored to dedicate themselves to help raise them in community. Contact Rev. Lisa if your family would like to participate or if you’d like more details.
