Children and Youth Religious Education

The North Wall Art Space and the community room will display art work of members and friends during July and August. All ages are welcome to participate. Sign up in the community room or online at https://forms.gle/1oAeGD4RKD59F9H37.
All forms of art work are welcome – painting, collage, fabric art, photography – surprise us!
Work to be displayed in the sanctuary should be framed and compatible with the hook and chain system hanging system.
Bring your work to the Basswood Room at UUCM before June 20th. Label your work with your name, title of the work, medium and price, if it is for sale.
For more information, contact Christy Dachelet. For questions about children’s artwork submissions, contact Karen Heuiser.

For the past several weeks, you’ve been corresponding over email, letters, texts and audio clips – now it’s time to meet your Mystery Friend face-to-face! Participants, please come down to the 6-10 Classrooms (at the end of the RE wing downstairs) at 11:15 this Sunday! Meet your new friend while enjoying a light lunch alongside plenty of fun and games!

We’re hosting our second Unitarian Universalist Family Initiative ritual on Sunday, April 23 after worship. We’ll be learning the Bedtime Ritual, which includes making a bead string that represents the Rainbow Path of UU principles, songs, prayers, and reflections to help connect and encourage sweet dreams. We’ll meet downstairs in the Oak Room. Plan for this to last about an hour. If you and your family would like to join us for a pizza lunch afterwards, please RSVP to Karen no later than April 22.
UUCM’s Social Generosity Recipient throughout March is Interfaith Outreach Community Partnership (IOCP). The most-needed items include pull-up diapers, cereal, cooking oil spray, canned meat and pasta sauce. We’ll be dropping off all UUCM donations at IOCP on March 31. For questions, reach out to Hannah Lynn, Karen Heuiser, or a member of the Social Justice team.
