It’s time to get the next few months filled for Chalice Lighters, and a special welcome and congratulations to Melody, Xander and Stephanie – our newest soon-to-be Chalice Keepers! Please sign up for a Sunday or two that works for you and yours in the next few months. You will receive a reminder from Sign Up Genius before each Sunday that you signed up for. Thank you for helping in this wonderful ritual of our church!

Pizza dinner from 5-6pm (with RSVP). Games from 6-8pm.

Come one and come all for family games, card games, board games and role-playing games. Feel free to bring a favorite game from home, or we will have several available for you to join in. Friends are always welcome as well!

A bonfire will also be roaring, if weather allows. All children must be accompanied by an adult if they are outside by the fire.

Pizza dinner will be at 5 PM and will be delivered as our stove just can’t keep up with the demand. A $3-$4 donation ($8 family max) will be requested if coming for dinner, and/or feel free to bring treats or drinks to share. An RSVP by noon on Jan. 6 is required for pizza only. Email Karen a dre@uucmtka.org. Future game nights will be the first Friday of each month, mark your calendar now!

We are excited to share that Michaela Kraemer is set to lead the Nursery again this year, providing high quality childcare during RE and congregational events. Michaela comes to us with an AA degree in Child and Adult Care Education, as well as many years of experience caring for young children, including her current position as the Lead Toddler Teacher at Bright Beginnings in Maple Grove.

Michaela is thoughtful, creative and fun. She loves reading, traveling, and all things Disney. She will team up with the PreK Teachers to offer a safe, fun and enriching environment in the nursery.

The Children and Youth Religious Education (CYRE) team has spent the last year reimagining their logo while holding their vision of Open Minds, Loving Hearts and Helping Hands. The new logo is here and you will start to see it more as we begin a new RE program year. We hope you enjoy it!
