Ridwell Reminder!

The next featured item for Ridwell is jewelry in good condition (earrings must have matching pairs). Please drop off your items before our next Ridwell Prep Party, December 30 at 2 p.m. 

The prep team has encountered a lot of garbage (dirty styrofoam, black styrofoam especially). Please help us out by bringing only clean, white and rigid  styrofoam. Other accepted items include: plastic film and multi-layer plastic, lightbulbs of any kind, threads (sheets, towels, clothes and shoes). Contact Kathy (612-590-9606) or Sue (612-703-2297) with questions.

Ridwell Reminder

RIDWELL REMINDER: Thanks to everyone who helped with Ridwell prep this week. The next featured category for December 2 are plastic yard signs with metal supports. We also want to offer some clarifications on the threads category. We can take: Amazon gift bags, backpacks, purses, belts, non-wearable clothing, fabric & polyester shower curtains, athletic shoes, rope hammocks, bedding (without foam or feathers) and gently-used decorative/throw pillows. We can’t take: used bed pillows, yard or thread, hard shell luggage, carpet, rugs or mats of any kind, plastic shower curtains, #60 denim cotton insulation, socks, boxers, undergarments or fabric scraps. Ridwell Reminder!

Our featured items for our November 18 pickup are plastic jar or bottle tops, bottle caps (including flip top caps and pouch caps) and aerosol tops. Ridwell is also picking up political lawn signs, which will be repurposed. Please bring only current featured items and leave others at home until future pick ups. Come for Ridwell prep party November 18 too! Bring the usual threads and shoes, styrofoam tied up in plastic bag, multi-layer and plastic film as well as lightbulbs, Your Climate Justice team thanks YOU! Drop off candy and any of the usual items by noon November 4 or bring to the prep party 2:00 that day. Join in the prep fun and bring your styrofoam in a tied plastic bag, threads and shoes, plastic film,  multi-layer plastic and lightbulbs. THANK YOU for all you do for the environment!
