Reminder: UUCM Town Hall This Sunday!

The UUCM Board of Trustees invites you to attend a special Town Hall meeting this coming Sunday, January 21 from 11:30–12:30 to learn more about the ministerial options available when UUCM’s Developmental Ministry ends in the next couple of years. There will be time to ask questions and provide input to the board. There will also be time to review UUCM’s new directory program. The meeting is both in person and on Zoom. Childcare will be available.

PHISHING WARNING

Another phishing scam is targeting UUCM through texts and emails. If you got a text claiming to be from Rev. Lisa ending in “God Bless,” or an email from another member asking for information to access our directory, both are fake. Please do not respond.

This is a known scam that has been targeting churches for years, but scammers are becoming even more sophisticated. We’re looking into ways to try to prevent this in the future. If you get one of these spam messages, please report and delete it. The Federal Trade Commission has more advice on how to recognize and avoid phishing scams here

If you ever have a question about a message from UUCM please call us at 952-473-5900.

New North Wall Artist

Please view the pieces on display from our new North Wall Artist, Anne Landreman. Her work portrays the energy of nature and the dependence and interdependence of each natural element and their delicate connections, in images both simple and complex. Anne’s watercolor and acrylic pieces will be on display through March.

If you are attending Sunday services on Zoom and would like to see the show in person, please contact Christy Dachelet to arrange a viewing at your convenience.
