UUCM Classroom Supply Drive
When you’re doing your back-to-school shopping, please keep UUCM in mind as well! After being virtual for a couple of years, our supply closets need a bit of updating. Sign up here and view a list of items that are in immediate need. It’s also okay to simply pick up an extra item or two that’s already on your school supply list. Please know that anything you can bring in will be put to good use. Items can be dropped off anytime before Ingathering Service, Sept. 10. Thank you!
RE Teacher Training
SAVE THE DATE: RE Teacher Training—September 10, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
After our beautiful Water Communion Service, we invite all Fall CYRE Teachers, Helpers and their families downstairs to the RE wing for a catered lunch and Teacher Training session. Please let Karen Heuiser know of any dietary restrictions by September 5. Childcare and supervised activities for youth will be available and there will be a pizza lunch, too!
It’ll be a great year, and you won’t want to miss gathering with this fantastic community who will be teaching alongside you! If you can’t attend, please email Karen. Doing this alone won’t be nearly as much fun, so we hope to see you there!
Feed My Starving Children
Sign up to help volunteer with Feed My Starving Children! UUCM will be volunteering once again in Chanhassan on September 23 from 11:30-1:15. Please sign up on the sheet in the community room or email Mary Cotton for more information. RSVP by September 17.
Mark your Calendars for the UUCM Auction!
The 2023 edition of our annual Auction will include an in-person live and silent auction at church on the evening of Saturday, November 4th, and an online auction from October 27th to November 5th.
