UUFI Bedtime Ritual

We’re hosting our second Unitarian Universalist Family Initiative ritual on Sunday, April 23 after worship. We’ll be learning the Bedtime Ritual, which includes making a bead string that represents the Rainbow Path of UU principles, songs, prayers, and reflections to help connect and encourage sweet dreams. We’ll meet downstairs in the Oak Room. Plan for this to last about an hour. If you and your family would like to join us for a pizza lunch afterwards, please RSVP to Karen no later than April 22.

UUCM Mid-Week Message | 3/29/23

April is UUCM’s Stewardship Campaign “Warmth of Community; Fire of Commitment.” Rev. Lisa invites us to think of this as a spiritual act and shares her story of making her first pledge at the age of 16.

The 2023-24 Stewardship Campaign is Underway!
Our 2023-2024 UUCM Stewardship Campaign, “Warmth of Community, Fire of Commitment,” is underway! In the recent listening sessions, many of you described “community” as one of UUCM’s great strengths. During the campaign, we will ask you to make a financial pledge in support of the continued growth of our UUCM community and its ministry.

To learn more, read the Happenings Article and watch this video introduction. You may also want to attend a Stewardship Information Session via Zoom at 7:00pm on April 12 or 17, or at church after the service on April 16. Watch the Friday Update for details.

When you are ready, please make your pledge and help us reach our goal of 125 pledges and $385,000. Then, provide valuable feedback to church leaders by completing the 15-minute Congregational Survey

Thank you for your support!

Venerable Women

Please join the Venerable Women’s virtual meeting Friday, April 14 at noon to celebrate the group’s 18th birthday! The meeting host is Ginny Meyers. The topic is a time when you thought something in your life was negative but it turned out to be a positive. Participants will get an email link early next week to join the Zoom meeting.
