The Climate Justice Team plans to have a metal recycling day in May. We encourage you to start saving items for this event. Contact Sue Asinger with any questions.
Teacher and helper positions are open in our youngest three classrooms this Spring semester – Nursery, Kinder-2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade classes. All that is required is having fun with some pretty great kids 1-2 Sundays a month. Believe me, you will love it! Lesson plans and games are provided beforehand. It’s a great way to meet our many new UUCM families, and have fun while you’re at it! Email Karen Heuiser by Monday if interested. Teacher training is on Jan. 14 from 2-4 pm.
Sunday, January 22 after the service 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Everyone is invited to a baby shower for Mo and Paul as they look forward to the birth of their first child in March. There will be lunch, treats, and activities for all ages, as well as a chance to offer our blessings for the adventure of parenthood. Paul and Mo have created a baby registry here or you can contribute to a collective UUCM gift by donating directly to UUCM by credit card or check. In lieu of cards, consider gifting and signing one of your favorite baby books! For credit card donations, please visit http://bit.ly/giveuucm and use the Special Donation Campaigns line and enter “Baby Shower” in the text box. Or you can write a check to UUCM with “Baby Shower” in the memo – drop checks off in the secure black box outside the office, or mail it to 2030 Wayzata Blvd East, Wayzata, MN 55391. Please contact Rev. Lisa if you have any questions.
NOTE SPECIAL DATE Sunday, January 15 at 11:15 AM
In the Oak Room (In Person Only)
All visitors, friends and members are invited to attend. This is one of two classes offered on the path to membership at UUCM. We will respond to your questions, explore information and opportunities about our particular church, and discuss how we relate to the wider UU Region and the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). Visitors and friends who have attended both of these “Exploring UUism” classes are eligible to become members of UUCM. Please contact Gary Charles with any questions, or if you would like to arrange an online class session.
