UUCM Is partnering with Beacon for a screening of the 5-part documentary season Shame of Chicago, Shame of the Nation. It examines systematic housing segregation in Chicago and its suburbs throughout the 20th century. The series illustrates how these policies not only shaped Chicago but also served as a model for other American cities. The next part is coming up January 23 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Bloomington. UUCM will be hosting the final episode Jim Crow of the North on February 4 from 6–8 p.m. Please click here to sign up and see the full schedule for the series. Each episode will be recapped for those who cannot attend all of them. Contact Sue Fust with questions.
