A Circle of Color and Community!

A mosaic art piece just was installed in the community room this week by artists from Mosaic On A Stick, Lori Greene and Juliette Myers. This mosaic was created by the participants during the 2023 Women’s Retreat to honor our colorful and diverse community, coming together from many directions to grow, worship, connect, contribute, learn and grow. Please stay tuned for more details on a dedication ceremony later this spring.

The 2024-25 Stewardship Campaign is Coming Soon!

On March 31st we will kick off our annual Stewardship Campaign, “Living Generously.”  Generosity is a shared UU value, and our UUCM members and friends have long displayed a generous spirit of kindness, gratitude, and hope. We welcome all seekers to our congregation and engage each other and the world around us with passion, as we share our time, talent, and treasure. During the campaign, we will ask you to make a financial pledge in support of the continued growth of our UUCM community and its Ministry. Watch the Friday update for more details.

Indigenous Perspectives on Palestine

Join the Racial Justice Team for Indigenous Perspectives on Palestine on March 17th after the Sunday service. The presentation and discussion will examine parallels between the colonial experience of Indigenous people in North America and in Palestine/Israel. We’ll share words from statements made by tribal governments and Indigenous-led organizations, compare them with the Unitarian Universalist Association’s statements, and explore what this means to us as UUs.
