The UUCM Climate Justice Committee is committed to helping you lower your personal energy use this year. We will have a new focus each month.

For November, please consider a HOME ENERGY AUDIT. You are eligible if you are an Xcel or Centerpoint Energy customer – the Home Energy Squad is ready to help. An audit can be done virtually (free) or in person.  There are programs for condos, apartments, townhomes and single-family homes. The most you will pay is $100.

If you live in Plymouth, the cost is $70. In Minnetonka, Hopkins, Edina, St Louis Park, New Hope and some other cities, the cost is $50. The cost includes installation of weather stripping, shower heads, faucet aerators, programmable thermostats, LED bulbs—whatever your residence needs.
