This Saturday: Anti-Hate Action!

Anti-Hate Action! Please join the Racial Justice Team and DSA this Saturday (tomorrow!) for another highway bridge anti-hate rally. This time it’s in Maple Grove in response to additional actions taken by the same white supremacist group that was present in Wayzata last fall. That group is more organized than they were last fall and have held many white supremist rallies in the west metro over the past 6 months. Please come out and show them that the majority of the west metro doesn’t agree with their messaging! The rally itself will be on the afternoon of Saturday, April 20th from 1-3pm at the Elm Creek Park / Medicine Lake Trail pedestrian bridge over highway 610. The address for the trail access point is 13340 Territorial Road, Maple Grove, MN. Parking and an accessible porta potty are available at the historic Bottineau House at 12600 James Dean Pkwy, about a 1/4 mile from the trail head. There may be street parking available at the trailhead. The bridge is accessible for bikes and rolling mobility devices. The organizing team will bring banners to hold and will have a security team in place. All you have to do is show up! For more information or questions, contact Tyler at 612-516-3263.
