2025 Fall Gala

2025 Fall Gala: Donations are due October 27th! Your donations are the key to the success of our Fall Gala.  Please submit your items using our easy online form before Monday, Oct 27th. The 2025 edition of our annual Fall fundraiser will be held at church on November 8th, with online bidding from October 31st through November 9th. ICOP Sleep Out

IOCP Sleep Out Registration Open! UUCM’s first Youth Group will be our annual IOCP Sleep Out! Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners supports people in our community by providing a variety of services, including housing support, a food shelf, and family assistance that is vital to thousands of families and individuals within Hennepin County. Anyone who is in Grade 6 or above is invited to sleep out either under the stars, in a tent, or in their own cardboard creation on the grounds of UUCM as a means to raise awareness about homelessness. Please fill out this form by November 9 or contact Karen Heuiser with any questions.

Artist Meet & Greet This Sunday!

Please join us in the sanctuary after the service this Sunday, October 19 for a meet and greet with our new North Wall Artist, James Turner. The watercolors displayed on our sanctuary walls in October and November invite us to share the joy James finds in creativity and expressing it through color, texture value and design. Even while busy with a career in medicine, he found time to explore photography, sculpture and printmaking. For the last 30 years he has been working in and teaching watercolor. He is a signature member of the Minnesota Watercolor Society and has received multiple awards for his work.

UUCM Holiday Play

Calling all actors, singers, and musicians (including children and youth)! Consider joining the cast or crew of UUCM’s beloved tradition—the annual Holiday Play, written and directed by Jeffrey Hatcher. This year’s information meeting will be held on Sunday, October 26 in the sanctuary right after church. No previous experience needed, just a desire to be part of an amazing community experience and some evenings and a weekend for rehearsals between November 23 and December 21. Performances will be held on Sunday, December 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. This show is a fundraiser for the church. Please click here to contact Karen Zais with any questions.
